Later in 2005, he released yet another album Time well wasted that featured collaboration with dolly Parton in the song “where I get where I am going”, that earned him a spot in the CMA Awards for musical events later in 2006 where he won an award for the best album. He also embarked on a tour that same year with Carrie Underwood that saw them record a duet “oh love”
